| German homes often reflect the pride residents take in their medieval past, and structures that date from the Middle Ages have been restored and preserved in almost every town. Learning the source of this pride, I developed this theme to try and communicate it in Japan. In this Nordlingen street scene, I sensed the medieval past in the fading light of day. |
