Supporting the works of WWF Japan for over 20 years
Olympus has been supporting WWF Japan with the Olympus Calendar (Japanese edition) for more than 20 years. The Calendar is sold by WWF Japan for 1,470 yen (including tax), with all profits going to help fund WWF Japan conservation works, including projects aiming to combat global warming.

About WWF:The World Wide Fund for Nature
The World Wide Fund for Nature is the world's largest environmental conservation organization, with over 5 million supporters in approximately 100 countries.
Established in 1961 to protect wildlife on the verge of extinction, the Fund is now also working to address other environmental threats such as global warming and contamination by toxic chemicals, and to build a world in which humans and nature can comfortably coexist by promoting the sustainable use of natural resources such as timber and marine resources.
Helping to preserve the environment: an environmentally friendly calendar
Refraining from the use of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for the calendar holder, unlike many other calendars, is one way that the Olympus Calendar reduces the impact on the environment.
In addition, the Japanese edition is printed entirely on FSC certified paper*, and comes in book format (rather than tear off monthly and throwaway) for making the most effective use of paper resources because it can be enjoyed as a photo collection once the calendar has outlived its usefulness.
* Paper produced and certified in accordance with the standards of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) international forest accreditation program. FSC-certified paper is eco-friendly as it is sourced entirely from properly managed forests.
