NOx and SOx emissions from boilers in FY2004 were 42 tons and 5.3 tons respectively, the same as the previous year. We strive to improve this situation by setting more stringent control standards than required by applicable regulations for maintaining and managing environmental facilities. Individual sites set these voluntary control standards, not only for measuring the volume of ash dust, nitrogen oxide(NOx), and sulfur oxide(SOx) but for regularly checking facilities and carrying out combustion tests for regulated facilities and boilers.
