Air Pollution Prevention (Boiler Air Pollutants) in 2008
NOx and Sox emissions from boilers in FY2008 were 152 tons and 2.7 tons respectively.
We strive to improve this situation by setting more stringent control standards than required by applicable regulations for maintaining and managing environmental facilities. Individual sites set these voluntary control standards, not only for measuring the volume of ash dust, nitrogen oxide (NOx), and sulfur oxide (Sox) twice a year but for regularly checking facilities and carrying out combustion tests for regulated facilities and boilers.
