Efforts of FY2007
Over the past year, Olympus Canada Inc.(OCI) has grown from about 120 to over 160 employees. With such rapid growth, one of OCI's priorities has been integrating and training new staff. Our Lunch n Learn sessions have helped to communicate this initiative and our staff currently has a broader understanding of the various product lines and services we offer. OCI's Healthy Living Committee was launched in the past year and has organized several events, helping our staff network and be active while raising money for charitable causes such as Colon Cancer Canada. Two such events have been 'Beachside Volleyball' and 'Bowling for CRC (Corolectal Cancer)'. Other events have been more informative in nature on topics such as Breast Cancer prevention. The Committee also assembled packages of information pamphlets for all our staff to take home and share with their families. We have also conducted our monthly Team Building activities, which have been instrumental in integrating our new staff with our existing employees. It is definitely an exciting time to work with such a dynamic and growing organization!
