Banned Substances
Level 1:
Use of the substance in products is basically banned.

Level 2:
Use of the substance in products is banned according to the use-restriction plan.
Metal and metal compounds
(including their alloys)
1 Cadmium and its compounds
2 Hexavalent chromium compounds
3 Lead and its compounds
4 Mercury and its compounds
5 Bis (tributyltin) oxide (TBTO)
6 Tributyltin (TBTs), Triphenyltin (TPTs)
Halogenated organic compounds 7 Polybrominated biphenyl (PBBs)
8 Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDEs)
9 Polychlorinated biphenyl (PCBs)
10 Polychlorinated naphthalene (with more than 3 chlorine atoms and the content of chlorine is 48% or more)
11 Short-chained chlorinated paraffin (having the chain length of 10 – 13)
12 Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Others 13 Asbestos
14 Azo dyes and pigments (specific amines formed by degrading azo dies and pigments)
15 Ozone depleting substances (Class I substances listed in Montreal Protocol)
16 Radioactive substances
Controlled-use Substances
The conditions under which these substances are contained in products must be controlled.

(including their alloys except for nickel)
17 Antimony and its compounds
18 Arsenic and its compounds
19 Beryllium and its compounds
20 Bismuth and its compounds
21 Nickel and its compounds
22 Selenium and its compounds
Halogenated organic compounds 23 Brominated flame retardants (other than PBBs and PBDEs)
24 Ozone depleting substances (Class II substances listed in Montreal Protocol)
Others 25 Phthalate esters
26 Class I designated chemical substances specified in the PRTR except for the ones specified in No. 1 to No. 25 above.
*The standard of No.26 is specified for liquid products, such as reagent, oil, etc.
