Use of Lead-free Eco-glass for Optics
We use lead-free and arsenic-free Eco-glass for all optics, such as lenses and prisms.
Lead-free soldering
100% lead-free soldering is used for our products.
Hexavalent chromium- free surface- treatment
Hexavalent chromium and lead are no longer used in metal parts, or for surface-treatment..
Use of cardboard for packaging materials
We are making packaging materials with cardboard to facilitate recycling.
Material Identification Marks
Material identification marks are placed on the main molded resin parts and die-cast parts to facilitate recycling.
Environmental impact assessment of products by LCA
We carried out environmental impact assessment of products by using Olympus LCA, and verified their lifetime environmental loads.
