Dual Super Aspheric Lens
The µ 740/750 /Stylus 740/750 is equipped with a sophisticated lens that has thinner central part which requires refined skills and technology to produce and process. The lens provides wider refraction index and correction for lens aberration. It allows the camera to give superb performance which is comparable with the capability obtained by combination of a couple of conventional lenses. With the same 3x optical zoom size, the lens realizes the effect of 5x optical zoom. Thanks to DSA lens, the total length of lens was curtailed. As a result, lens movement distance has been shortened. These contribute to its small and light body and the high performance of lens, such as the zooming speed and focusing speed.
