Olympus was founded to contribute to the advancement of Japanese medical science through the manufacture of microscopes in Japan. This legacy of corporate social responsibility lives on in our continuing efforts to create value from a customer-focused perspective. Our corporate slogan, "Your Vision, Our Future," symbolizes our determination to build a better future in partnership with all stakeholders.
The Olympus Group's approach to corporate social responsibility is based on our "Social IN" concept, which expresses our determination to contribute to health and happiness of humanity by INvolving ourselves as members of society, by sharing our INsights with society, and by using our business activities to INspire society through the proposal of new values. We have established the Olympus Group Corporate Conduct Charter and the Olympus Group Code of Conduct in order to practice the philosophy of "Social IN" in our daily operation and to fulfill our corporate social responsibility.
