Increasing Staff Awareness
To increase staff awareness, a series of posters provided information on the installation of Automatic Readers for all electric and gas meters to optimise energy consumption monitoring, the Design Working Group's focus on carbon foot-printing including the elements making up the iSpeed 3 system footprint and the work under way to measure and reduce its lifecycle CO2 footprint. Other posters, customised for each building, were specifically designed to raise staff awareness of energy consumption, the factors which affect it and the opportunities for energy reduction that the Energy Reduction Working Group are studying and implementing.
