Respect for Human Rights

Olympus has adopted a basic human resource policy for its group companies. This policy requires not only group companies but also suppliers to protect human rights, and regular surveys are carried out to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled, including consistent compliance with labor laws and the prohibition of child labor. The surveys also cover ethical aspects. Olympus also implements a variety of initiatives to create dynamic workplaces in which every individual employee can achieve his or her full potential.

Working Environments with Vitality

Olympus uses various assessment and skill development systems to ensure that its employees can achieve their full potential. Our welfare provisions include systems to help employees reconcile their work and home lives through the adjustment of working hours. There is also a system to encourage employees to take continuous periods of annual paid leave. There are systems to assist employees who have childcare or nursing care responsibilities, and leave is available for employees participating in voluntary activities.
