Reagents for AU5000 Systems
In 1989, Olympus established a reagent development and manufacturing base in Ireland, which has a thriving healthcare industry. Reagents for AU5000 systems were manufactured at that facility and were supplied at normal concentrations for use with large-scale testing equipment. Olympus supplied a two-liter "Jumbo Kit" for the U.S. market, where high-volume processing is common.
Reagents for Current AU Series Systems
These highly concentrated, stable liquid reagents are currently on the market. They are supplied in wedge-shaped plastic bottles with barcode labels and are suitable for use with the AU400, AU640, AU2700 and AU5400 systems. No pre-processing is required. Other advantages include the ability to load the reagents at any position in the reagent compartments. Excellent compatibility between reagents and hardware ensures highly reliable test results.
Olympus also develops and supplies calibrators, controls, detergents and other products for use with its reagents.
