Olympus exhibits social responsibility according to the Corporate Conduct Charter and the Code of Conduct defined based on the management policy of Social IN. In October 2004, we participated in the United Nations Global Compact and declared our unwavering commitment to corporate activities under 10 principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption. The "Procurement Policy" and "Request to Suppliers" were prepared to help our suppliers who play a critical role in our production activities to have a better understanding of our position on our procurement policies, and for us to enjoy continued co-operation toward the sustainable development of our society.
