The Future Creation Laboratory is engaged in research designed to create future value, that is, "the technologies and concepts for supporting the well-being that future societies and people believe to be important." Rather than simply pursuing highly functional, high-performance products, our common goal is to offer new value to realize a supportive society that offers peace of mind while promoting health and vitality.

At the Future Creation Laboratory we conduct research with the goal of creating new services and tools, envisioning the future values of those living in an advanced ICT society.^* Up to the present, we have experimented with eyewear-type wearable information display devices and 360-degree panoramic imaging and display system for immersive visual contents. Here the goal of the eyewear display devices includes providing users with information with optimal timing according to their personalities, as well as the time, place, and occasion. Using these technologies, we are conducting research to develop new image information services that will foster lives filled with awareness, discovery, and emotion.
