On the wonder of photography
With my camera in my hand, I float in the ocean off the Izu Peninsula. Each time I release the shutter, a multitude of colors responds to the beckoning rays of light.
In the ocean or on shore, I want to share the things I see and feel with the people I love. There are more stories on this planet than can be told with words alone, and many, many wonderful characters to meet. I think photography helps make me aware of that, and I always feel grateful for the special encounters it brings.
