On the wonder of photography
I love being able to stand in the middle of a field of flowers and take photos - it feels so good. It's just so relaxing and comforting being there, smelling the flowers and capturing their beauty in images. And if I get some really great photos, that makes it even better!
It's nice to come upon flowers when you're hiking, but seeing them and photographing them are two different things. To truly converse with the flowers, you need to treat them as the subject of a personal portrait.
