As you know, Olympus Corporation, Japan, announced last November its intention to acquire Gyrus Group PLC. This transaction has just been completed and effective today, Gyrus ACMI is an Olympus company.

You have our commitment that we will do everything possible to make this transition very visible in terms of the expanded offerings and enhanced service we will be able to provide to you.

Please be assured that Olympus, with Gyrus ACMI, is committed to providing a wider range of products and services than either company individually could provide you. Each company’s strengths will make the integrated Olympus entity better able to innovate, broaden our offerings in minimally invasive surgical equipment and procedures, and deliver better service to you, all with the goal to contribute to the safe, reliable and clinically and financially efficient outcomes that you strive to deliver, for the ultimate well being of patients.

Stability and continuity of sales and customer support is of paramount importance to us. All products and services will be available and provided to you as before from both Olympus and Gyrus ACMI. Additionally, your existing sales, sales support and customer service staff with whom you are familiar will continue to serve you and be your point of contact, to ensure a seamless transition.

Further, needless to say, rest assured that any agreements you had in place with us remain in effect and will be fulfilled according to the terms of the agreement.
