All these and more come to life before your eyes with the new HDPS100 high-definition 100-inch display system with its stunning image resolution of 4 million pixels. Newly commercialized following a multitude of requests from many who had been hugely impressed by our prototype large-screen displays, the HDPS100 system promises to find applications in a wide variety of settings: fashion or industrial design presentations; electronic art museum or other exhibitions; even amusement parks. Its fresh, vivid pictures promise to bring a new rapture to audiences worldwide.
In this series of interviews, we talk to some of the people at Olympus Optical who helped make this product a reality. We find out more about the development of the element imaging technology with Yasuhiro Komiya of the Imaging Technology Department, and we discuss the product development process and results with Yoshiro Suzuki and Tadashi Nishio from the PS Business Department.
