Hikaru Inoue
	Development Department. Olympus Biomaterial Corp Hikaru Inoue believes that those involved with advanced medical technology should also be sensitive to trends in the wider world. He is a firm believer in the proverb "seeing is believing" and works to share information with others as much as possible. While promoting the work of Olympus Biomaterial at OTF85, Inoue gained a new awareness of the importance of development work. He envisions himself playing an active role in the commercialization of other products, in addition to Osferion, by the time of OTF90.

Tomoaki Tamura
	Medical New Business Project Corporate R&D Center Olympus Corporation Tomoaki Tamura was eager to be involved in the development of new medical technologies and became a member of the newly established tissue engineering project team in 2002. His task at OTF85 was to lead the cultured bone project team in the presentation of this new project. Tamura says that to maintain a strong motivation toward technology development, it is necessary to imagine and visualize how Olympus products and technologies will be used by customers.
