Kazuo Hijikata
	Research Specialist Tama-TLO(Formerly with the Product Development Department, Olympus Corporation) Kazuo Hijikata was born in Hino City, Tokyo, in 1945. He joined Olympus in 1968. During his years with Olympus, he worked on the development of the PK7100 and basic planning for the projects relating to blood transfusion testing. In August 2005 he retired from Olympus and joined Tama-TLO, where he is applying his many years of experience to the revitalization of regional industries.
