Joined Olympus with the desire to develop cameras. A veteran engineer with 26 years' experience in developing everything from conventional film cameras and still video cameras to commercial digital cameras and ultra-high-resolution digital video cameras. Entrusted with the task of developing the new flagship E-3, he is convinced that it was the E-3 itself that supported his motivation amidst all the excitement and pressure. Having honed his splendid physique playing rugby during his college days, he established Olympus's own rugby team and now serves as manager. |
