Involved in camera mechanism design throughout his career. He can't keep his eyes off anyone he finds with a camera that he was involved with. If he sees someone looking puzzled when taking a photograph, he hurries over to them to give advice. And he'll react immediately and go overboard buying portable digital gadgets, whether they be PDAs, Smartphones or iPods – not just cameras. He prefers looking at photographs to taking them, and he's interested in photographs that use special techniques, such as "Moonlight Blue" by Kenji Ishikawa.
