-Olympus Enhances Sales and Services in India-
Olympus Corporation (President: Tsuyoshi Kikukawa) has established Olympus Medical Systems India Private Limited in India in anticipation of further growth in its medical business in the Indian market. The new company commenced business operations on April 1, 2010.
India's economic growth has been conspicuous even among the rapidly growing economies of Asia, and Olympus Corporation also anticipates major expansion in the healthcare business. Olympus aims to achieve substantial growth in the Indian medical equipment market by enhancing medium- and long-term marketing activities, strengthening customer contacts and providing high quality services.
