The annual International Design Excellence Awards® (IDEA) is the world's most prestigious and rigorous design competition, sponsored by the nonprofit Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). Founded in 1965, IDSA is one of the oldest and largest membership associations for industrial design professionals. The award selects excellent designs from a wide range of industrial products around the world, and aims to communicate the value of good design that influences the economy and the quality of life.
