Hospitals and clinical laboratories no longer have to compromise when they choose their diagnostic tools. The earlier AU800 automated chemistry analyzer combined speed and accuracy with versatility and convenience. Responding to the growing needs for urgent testing, the new AU1000 builds on this performance with its outstanding efficiency, high-speed performance and lower operating costs.

Offering hourly throughput of 2,200 tests with 43 different items, the AUI000 is the right answer for larger hospitals and clinical laboratories. The high-speed 2 x 2 block random access / multi-channel system has twin reaction lines for simultaneous sampling of four items. Not only suited to serum sampling, it can be used for urinalysis drug testing. Since reagents are stored in a built-in compartment, the analyzer is ready day and night, and it is easy to interrupt routine processing when emergency testing is needed. |

One of the AU1000's most important advances is a new cuvette system that has cut reagent requirements from 250 to 200 microliters - a dramatic reduction of 20% and a major contribution to lower operating costs. The advanced separation pipetting system uses only the exact amount of diagnostic agents required. Along with preventing waste of reagents, this precision speeds up throughput. |
