Olympus Corporation (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President: Hiroyuki Sasa) today announced the completion on October 7, 2015 of a new factory building at its Shirakawa facility (Nishigo-mura, Nishishirakawa-gun, Fukushima), one of its key manufacturing sites for medical equipment. The new building is intended for facilitating major advances in Olympus’s medical business and will commence full-scale operation at the end of the month.
