| Event Outline | As part of its youth education support campaign, Olympus took part in the Special Seminar Series on Taking a Closer Look at Contemporary Society and gave a lecture titled Medicine and AI at The Senior High School Affiliated with Japan Women's University, The participating students, who had prepared for the lecture by completing assignments on endoscopy and the future of surgical procedures, discussed and debated the future of medicine following a lecture by an Olympus employee. At the end of the event, the students stated that they were very much impressed by the innovations that Olympus brings to the field of medicine, and also expressed the view that the further advancement of medicine would require an environment that made it possible to achieve greater cooperation and coordination between humans and AI. |
