| Event Outline | Every year participating men throughout Olympus in the Americas stop shaving in an effort to bring awareness to men's health initiatives. In support of the Movember Foundation, 73 Olympus employees completed the 2019 challenge which registered a $7300 donation to the organization. Additionally, Matt Wynocker, this year's Olympus "Face of Movember" and male motivator, put a challenge out to all employees to help him raise an additional $1000 by November 30th, and in exchange for the effort Matt promised to dye his newly grown moustache and beard white and wear a Santa hat in the office. True to form, our employees came through with donated funds of $1,165 and Matt was seen in the hallways of Center Valley donning his Santa hat. Community Affairs matched the employee donated funds for a total Olympus/employee donation of $9,630 to Movember. |
