| Event Outline | To help mark 50 years since the start of Region UI (the U.K. & Ireland), Councillors, Head Teachers and representatives from local charities were invited for a celebration event in Southend. The event showcased the contribution we've made to our community over the past five decades. Visitors were invited to take part in three discovery sessions to learn more about Olympus' products, and a 20m inflatable colon was also on display with representatives from Bowel Cancer UK available, to highlight the various stages of colon disease. The inflatable colon was also available for employees to visit during the day where over 200 took the time to learn more about colon disease and the importance of recognising symptoms and early diagnosis. |
