Based on our Corporate Philosophy, the Olympus Group identifies the important ESG areas and initiatives (materiality items) on which we should focus and strives to resolve various social issues through our business. Materiality Topics
For materiality to be prioritized for engagement by corporations from an ESG perspective, we will introduce Olympus’ six focus areas and respective materiality topics as well as examples of sustainability initiatives (Impact Action Stories).

Six Focus Areas and 24 Materiality Topics
We will introduce in detail Olympus’ materiality from the perspectives of “Why” (Why are we taking these actions?), “How” (How will we achieve this?), and “What” (What specifically will we do?) in each of the six focus areas.

We will introduce various examples of sustainability initiatives undertaken by Olympus to Our Purpose of “Making people’s lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling,” through interviews along with employee perspectives.
