| Event Outline | This is the 4th activity of 2019 Olympus Youth Education Project. This event was carried out in collaboration between Olympus and Guangzhou Children's Activity Center (a government-background association focus on teenager education). The mentor of the project was an experienced physics teacher from famous high school in Beijing. The class combined Optical Knowledge with handliwork and product hands-on. The contents of the class were divided into three sections themed with three knowledge; Spectrum + Prisms and Dispersion, Reflection + Optical Fiber Light handliwork, Refraction + Microscope handliwork. After the first two sections, participants got the chance to experience the Olympus optical products, including XRF analyzer, endoscope and microscope. In total 33 families participated in the project. |
