| Event Outline | In support of the Adopt-A-Forest Program promoted by Nagano Prefecture, Olympus' Nagano Facility concluded an adopt-a-forest partnership agreement with the Forest Owners' Cooperatives of the towns of Tatsuno and Monzen in 2014, and has held the local environmental conservation event "Komorebi-No-Sato" ever since. The 11th Komorebi-No-Sato event attracted about 160 Olympus employees and their families, who worked together to pick up broken branches and thin trees to avoid overcrowding and improve the growth of the remaining tress. Parent-and-child teams also set up nesting boxes for birds. In addition, there was a photography workshop for employees' families, with participants adding their drawings to the photographs they took for enhanced effect. |
