Event Outline Aizu Olympus conducted the Wakuwaku Science Class for Kids and Endoscope Kids Class at Kawahigashi Gakuen Junior High School in partnership with the Board of Education of Aizu-Wakamatsu and its Aizukko Youth Development Project. The students gained knowledge about camera mechanisms by building camera obscuras in the Science Class, while in the Endoscope Class they operated medical endoscopes and treatment tools and were taught about the history of endoscopes. The students enjoyed the classes, as reflected in their post-session comments that gave thanks for the rare opportunity to personally operate an endoscope. Aizu Olympus is committed to supporting youth development projects that foster the leaders of tomorrow.
