| Event Outline | The Olympus Museum welcomed a tour from 16 students and faculty, as well as an interpreter, from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, who were visiting Japan as part of Sakura Science Plan 2019. Aimed at advancing scientific and technological innovation in Japan and abroad, the Sakura Science Plan introduces Asian youths with outstanding potential for scientific and technological innovation to Japan's advanced technology, and also promotes exchanges between such students and members of Japan's academic, industry and government circles. The students showed great interest in exhibits detailing Olympus' technological evolution in the scientific, imaging and medical fields, while also developing a greater understanding of Olympus products by personally operating some devices. |
