Main Features Details

1. Flagship flash with a maximum guide number of 58*1

This is a high-intensity flash with a maximum guide number of 58*1. The combination of the camera's built-in image processor (TruePic) technology and TTL synchronization technology enables optimal lighting. It covers the angle of view for a focal length of 12mm-100mm lenses (35mm equivalent focal length: approx. 24mm-200mm lenses) and 7mm-10mm lenses (35mm equivalent: approx. 14mm-20mm lenses) when using the built-in wide panel.

2. 10 fps fastest sequential shooting tracking performance*2 in its class*3

Charging circuits optimized for nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries reduce the charging time to approximately 2.5 seconds. An expanded low-end firing range enables the fastest sequential shooting tracking performance in its class*3 at 10 fps*2. This makes it possible to capture split-second movement of fast-moving subjects.

3. Compact, lightweight weather-resistant performance with excellent mobility and reliability.

The flash makes use of a compact, lightweight design that can be taken anywhere, with dustproof, splashproof and freezeproof (-10°C)*4 performance. When combined with the E-M1 Mark II, E-M1, E-M5 Mark II, and M.Zuiko PRO lenses, the dustproof, splashproof and freezeproof (-10°C)*4 system design making it possible to shoot in a variety of environments.

4. Versatile shooting for expanding expressive capabilities

Equipped with wireless lighting mode

This unit can be used for high-intensity multi-flash photography via wireless control. From the camera, you can control up to 4 flash groups, select whether a group fires or not, compensate for the flash output, and adjust various settings. It is also equipped with a slave function. This unit can be attached to the hot shoe of a camera and can be used as the master flash when using the commander function. An IR filter is included for when the commander light is not necessary.

Equipped with Multi Flash mode

Multi Flash mode is now available for expressing subject motion by firing the flash multiple times during an exposure. The flash output, interval, and number of times can be set. When combined with the E-M1 Mark II, new possibilities for expression are possible.

Compatible with High Res. Shot, Focus Stacking and Focus Bracketing

The unique Olympus High Res. Shot, Focus Stacking, and Focus Bracketing functions are supported on this flash. Shorter shooting intervals than before are now available.

Equipped with an LED light for movies

This flash is equipped with an LED light for movies, which is effective for shooting OM-D Movies in low light or backlit conditions. Compatible with lenses with a focal length of 12mm (35mm equivalent: approx. 24mm) or higher. Illumination of 100 Lux at 1m is available.
