TOKYO, March 7, 2024 – Olympus Corporation (Olympus) has released the latest installment of its "True to Life Stories," featuring stories of how Olympus is contributing to “making people's lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling” through advanced medical technologies and solutions. The latest story highlights the endoscopy experience of Takeshi Tsuruno, a multi-talented actor and singer in Japan.
Takeshi, who is a father of five children, strongly feels the importance of cancer screening and early detection and treatment of diseases, having lost his father to lung cancer at the young age of 59. In this video and article, Takeshi, shares that he undergoes regular endoscopic examinations out of a desire to live a long and healthy life and see his children grow up.
