TOKYO, October 21, 2024 – Olympus Corporation (Olympus), a global MedTech company committed to making people’s lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling, has released the latest installment of its "True to Life Stories," featuring stories of how Olympus is contributing to “making people's lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling” through advanced medical technologies and solutions. The latest story highlights the treatment experience of Miho Takayama, an Olympus employee in Japan.

Miho has been dealing with irritable bowel syndrome since her late twenties. At age 35, when she underwent an endoscopic examination, polyps were found in her large intestine. In this article, Miho, who felt "the importance of being sensitive to changes in one's own body" shared what she keeps in mind on a daily basis.
