Denise Lane

In this role, Denise will serve as the senior executive responsible for championing and governing Olympus’ global Inclusion strategy, a key material topic within the “Healthy Organization” focus area of the company’s broader ESG framework.

As Chief Officer of Inclusion, Denise will provide executive oversight of Olympus’ global Inclusion strategy, partnering across leadership and Inclusion teams to strengthen governance and accountability, embed inclusive practices into core business and management systems, and elevate the company’s external inclusion presence.

The company’s global Inclusion strategy is anchored in three core commitments: Equal Opportunities, Advocacy and Awareness, and Family Life Support. Through inclusive talent practices, enterprise-wide learning initiatives, and active Employee Resource Group (ERG) engagement, the company promotes awareness, accountability, and meaningful participation at all levels. In addition, enhanced family-focused policies and flexible work support employees across different life stages.

Olympus envisions a workplace where inclusion is woven into culture and business performance, empowering employees to thrive. Guided by this vision, the company continues to strengthen governance, leadership accountability, and measurable impact across regions worldwide.

Denise joined Olympus in April 2024 and serves as Senior Vice President and Global Intellectual Property (IP) General Counsel. Since joining Olympus, she has supported enterprise inclusion efforts, including engagement with ERGs and the Global Inclusion Executive Council. Denise will retain her current responsibilities in addition to serving as COI.

Through this appointment, Olympus advances its commitment to inclusion across its global operations and to a culture where every employee feels respected, valued, and supported.
