A group of 5 students experienced life at Olympus Canada as part of the national Take Our Kids to Work Day! They had a packed agenda which included learning about the company from an ExCom member, conducting interviews to practice techniques, gaining an overview of employment laws, and brainstorming ideas on what makes a great employer. They were able to get hands-on in our Operating Room Showroom where they tested out some Olympus surgical technologies. They then job shadowed their parents in our Service and Integration departments, which was followed by a closing ceremony conducted by Bill Collins, President and CEO of Olympus Canada. By the end of the day, the students walked away equipped with insights to help plan their career paths. |
