| Event Outline | Olympus Europe runs an internship program for university students to help them gain on-the-job experience through temporary engagement. In addition to day-to-day operations at Olympus, the interns gain experience with corporate social responsibility (CSR) as practiced by Olympus. As part of their on-the-job activities, recent interns carried out volunteer work in extremely cold weather. The social organization "Winternotprogramm" in Hamburg offers homeless people a temporary home for cold nights and a warm meal per day during the cold season. Our interns at Olympus Europa supported the organzisation: They packed over 300 food bags with a little chocolaty surprise and brought them to the homeless shelter for St. Nicholas' Day. |
