| Event Outline | Olympus held the Endoscope Kids Class for 30 children at the Nishihara Elementary School's after school club in Shibuya Ward. Olympus employees gave children lectures about the role and history of medical endoscopes, and also supported the experience of operating real endoscopes and treatment tools. The children were curious about the endoscope they were seeing for the first time, and through this event they deepened their understanding of Olympus and endoscopes. Participated children expressed their impressions such as "It was interesting to know in detail how the endoscope was born" and "I want to tell my family about the endoscope". |
