Event Outline The African American CAN (Colleague Affinity Network in Olympus Corporation of the Americas) celebrated Juneteenth and posted educational information and video conversation of the importance and meaning of the date on the enterprise social network of Olympus. June 19th (Juneteenth) is the date that marks the end of Slavery in the United States. Two of our African American colleagues created materials by which to learn about the event. Tanisha Heard gave a 15 minute talk online, and Christine Phatax prepared a learning module about the day.
