Event Outline Ten students from Hiyodoriyama Junior High School in Hachioji visited the Olympus Museum on a field trip. Divided into morning and afternoon groups, the students learned about the history of Olympus’ scientific, imaging and medical businesses and got the opportunity to personally operate some Olympus products. The visitors left comments such as:
“I saw a real medical endoscope for the first time, and was amazed to see the interior of a simulated stomach.” “I tried the image stabilization technology installed in the camera to see how it worked. It was awesome – there was no blurring in the picture I took.”
“It was fun looking into the interior of a pipe using an industrial endoscope.”
