Event Outline A total of 32 students from Hachioji Daihachi Elementary School visited the Olympus Museum as part of an educational town exploration activity (visits to local companies). Divided into morning and afternoon groups, the students were given opportunities to operate digital cameras and industrial endoscopes. They also used biological microscopes to observe microorganisms living in ponds and examined specimens through stereo microscopes. The students asked numerous questions during the question-and-answer part of the visit, including how many people work for Olympus, what types of products Olympus makes, what Olympus employees love about their jobs, and why people chose to work for Olympus.
