| Event Outline | Olympus Corporation of the Americas started to hold virtual and on-site food and money collections for their local non-profit food banks. In addition to the drives, Olympus also donated 3,000USD in honor of Giving Tuesday to each of the chosen food banks for 14 of our sites. The event attracted activity on SNS and was picked up by a local news station in Bartlett, Tennessee. Giving Tuesday is a philanthropic movement that occurs the Tuesday after the US Thanksgiving holiday. Employees gave food and approximately 4,000USD to the cause. |
