Russ was diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD), a rare genetic condition that severely damaged his lungs and threatened his future. Through determination, long-term self-management, and bronchial valve treatment, he was able to breathe more freely and begin a new chapter of his life.
